Photo Christmas Ornaments are available in sublimation or photo insert varieties and have unlimited possibilities for customization.


Photo Christmas Ornaments are permanent keepsakes from your holiday event that will be remembered and cherished year after year.

Imagine that each year when a family trims their Christmas tree the hang an ornament that captured them at your event. It becomes more and more special each year that passes as they look back and remember a younger them.

Our Photo Christmas Ornaments are available in metal, ceramic or plastic with a photo insert. Each have their own advantages. We prefer the plastic – and we’d be happy to tell you why in the FAQ section.

These Photo Christmas Ornaments are sure to be a hit of your event, not just this year, but every year that they are used. Very few novelties will have the kind of lasting power than Photo Christmas Ornaments have.

Each event includes up to 4 hours of taking photos and printing them onto the ornaments. We can usually do about 50-60 per hour – a little slower when small kids are involved as it takes a bit longer to get them focused and get a great picture.

Do you bring props?

YES! We bring a bunch of holiday specific props.

  • Props include signs, hats, glasses, props on sticks and more.
Can we do our event outdoors?
  • Please let us know the event is outdoors before we give a price quote as events are always quoted with indoor pricing.
  • Note that all outdoor events are scheduled at the customer’s risk – so we strongly recommend that you have a backup plan.
  • To Go Events/Fun Fotos To Go will always maintain the right to refuse to set up outdoors if there is a safety issue because of weather.
  • If set up outdoors a 10×15 or 10×20 tent should be provided as shelter for the computer, printer, other electronics and photography backdrops that can be affected by heat, wind and moisture.
  • Even though we use high-quality backdrops & frames, they can act like a sail in even modest winds – so there needs to be something to protect from wind.
  • Tents outdoors should have sidewalls available to protect from wind.
  • Outdoor events may cause inconsistencies in print quality because of moisture, heat etc.  We always recommend being indoors.
Can we customize our prints?
  • Of course. That’s the fun of it. You can include a specific background, any overlay for event info, logos etc. We can literally do anything – especially with using green screen technology.
Do you charge by the piece or by the hour?
  • All events are booked by the hour not by the piece.
How many ornaments are included?
  • For ornaments we can generally create about one ornament per minute.
  • Since ornaments are seasonal we may put a cap of 200-250 that we bring with us for each event. Especially with ceramic ornaments, which are more costly.
  • We come prepared with more supplies than could possibly be used at a single event.
What are the different types of materials available for ornaments?
  • Photo Insert (recommended) 2 7/8″ Insert
  • Metal – Two Sided Sublimation (2.75″ Round)

Which Ornaments do you recommend?
We flip flop on this one from year to year. However, currently our favorites are the photo insert acrylic ornaments. They’re much quicker to deliver to guests, require no special heat press, so it’s safer with little kids around, and they look great.

Our next favorite is the metal ornaments. They look fantastic and will be cherished for a lifetime. Plus they’re nearly indestructible. They take longer as we have to press both sides individually to keep from getting tape marks or using a spray adhesive, but it’s a look that’s worth it.

Our least favorites are the ceramics. They have a higher value as they’re delicate, but they’re easier to break, and they take a LOT longer to produce as they have to heat and cool for almost 7 minutes. Though we can do several at one time.

  • 2 – 6′ or 8′ banquet style tables
  • Minimum of 10×10 space with 10×15 or larger being better
  • 1 – 110v outlet
  • Indoors is preferred, however if outdoors we also need:
    • Covered area or tent with protection from direct sunlight and wind
    • Tent must be staked or weighted down.
    • Tent should have side and/or back walls
    • Client assumes all risks for outdoor events (we recommend a back up venue just in case of inclement weather)
